Hi all. If you hate having to change batteries in your wireless keyboard, then I have the perfect solution for you.

On sunday, I went out to buy a new keyboard, as my old one was going bad, fast. After typing on a large selection of them, I settled on a Logitech K750. I went online and discovered that I didn't have to worry about replacing batteries, as the entire thing is sola powered. As long as it's in a room with natural or synthetic light, it's charging. Logitech even clames that on a full charge, it can survive for at least 3 months in total darkness. A final neet thing about this keyboard is that the USB reciever can manage up to 6 wireless devices at once. This means you could easily pare it up with a wireless headset, and anything else you might want with no problems.

This thing types like a dream, and is more than worth it's waight in gold. You can pick it up for around £50, or $70. I'd pay no more than that for a wireless keyboard, and I'd say you're getting a seriously good bargain here. Do let me know if you're considering buying one!

It was at a shop here called PC World, but you can find it on Amazon and all good tech websites.

I have the Logitech K760. This is also a solar powered keyboard however, it's Bluetooth. You can pair it up with up to 3 devices and switch between them with a single keystroke. It also has an actual on-off switch so I don't have to worry about a button getting pushed while carrying it.
Nice little keyboard. No number pad.

I don't think I could ever live without a number pad. I use it so much that it would feel wrong having a keyboard without it. Do you find that you have to use a different keystroke to access context menus on the k760?

Yes, you do. I know because I have the 60 also. These keyboards are meant for Mac layouts. But they can work on windows. However, if you want them to work on Windows, you may have to install sharp keys and set up things to work with that keyboard. I have had to do this several times for the virtual machines of windows that I have, but I'll tell you now, the 60 is got to be one of the best solar power Bluetooth wireless keyboards I've ever owned. One of the reasons why you may want to use Sharp keys to set up some things is mainly because there is only one control key on the 60, and if you want another control key, you will have to change one of the command option keys on the right side to act as the control key. Also for fusion users like myself, I have to set up one of the keys to be in insert key, because fusion for the Mac will not let me use caps lock as insurt. I do wish that the 60 had some sort of an audible tone to let you know when the battery needs charging, because you have practically no way of knowing unless it's completely dead. The only way that I have seen to know when it's dead is if it locks up on the Mac or the iPhone
